Many of the photos show the development of dusk, and the quietude of life in a wooded preserve. It was a nice change of pace, as I usually tour neighborhoods in full daylight, and the light at dusk made the neighborhood seem warm and comfortable.
Woods of Kildaire is a mature affordable neighborhood in the center of Cary, NC. Woods of Kildaire is situated off the SW Cary Parkway. Access to the neighborhood is also available from Kildaire Farm Road, and through MacGregor Downs. Access and egress to and from the neighborhood are convenient.
Raleigh and NC State University are about a 15-20 minute commute. The Research Triangle Park, “RTP,” is about 25 minutes. Heavy drive-time traffic can lengthen those times.
Woods of Kildaire was developed in the mid-1970’s through the 1980’s. Traditional 1.5 and two-story homes, and a variety of contemporary styles comprise Woods of Kildaire. Home sizes ranging from 2200 to 3900 square feet. As the photos indicate, Woods of Kildaire is heavily wooded with a mix of mature hardwoods, and huge pine trees.
