Inman Park – Convenience and class

Inman Park is a neighborhood made up of 156 single-family homes, 96 townhomes (The Enclave) and 232 luxury apartments (Inman Park Apartments), located on Lead Mine Road in Raleigh within 1 mile of Glenwood Avenue. Downtown Raleigh is only about a 15 minute drive.

Located about 5 minutes from the 440 beltline and only about 10 minutes from 540, Inman Park is a short 20 minutes from the heart of the Research Triangle Park and only 25 minutes from either Durham or Cary. Obviously, these times may change with traffic.  

This neighborhood was established in 1999 with most construction being completed by 2003, although, several homes have been built in the past few years. Homes in the single-family area of Inman Park range from 1700 to 6400 square feet, while the townhomes range in size from 1400 to 1700 square feet. 

Single-family home sales have ranged from $290,000 to $1,500,000 and boast features such as 2-3 car garages, 2-4 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, basements (both partial and full), cathedral ceilings, tray ceilings, hardwood floors, large closets, spacious master baths, as only a sampling. 

The brick facades and ample light give a rich appeal to homes on small lots (.18-.33 acres). 

The neighborhood is located in Wake County.  School assignments for the neighborhood are managed by Wake County Public School System.  

The single-family homes and the townhomes are overseen by the Inman Park Community Association and the Enclave Association respectively.  Homeowner’s Association dues provide for the maintenance of the community swimming pool and cabana, maintenance of community landscaping and maintenance of community standards and community property.  The residents of the Inman Park Apartments utilize their own pool and clubhouse.   

Single-family home sales currently fall in the $274,000 – 1,500,000 range.
