Chestnut Hills – A well established neighborhood that is still growing.

Downtown Raleigh is only about a 15-minute drive.  Located about 5 minutes from the I-440 beltline and only about 10 minutes from I-540, Chestnut Hills is a short 20 minutes from the heart of the Research Triangle Park and only 25 minutes from either Durham or Cary.  Obviously, these times may change with traffic.

Chestnut Hills was established in the late 1950’s.  Most homes in the neighborhood were constructed in the 60’s and 70’s; however, several homes have been built in the last 10 years. 

Homes range in size from 1700 to 3100 square feet.  Typical amenities include 2-5 bedrooms, 1-4 full bathrooms, hardwood floors, attached 2-car garages and bonus rooms all on lots ranging from .33 to just under .70 acres. 

The neighborhood is located in Wake County.  Schools and all school assignments are managed by Wake County Public School System. 

There is no Homeowner’s Association in Chestnut Hills. 

Homes currently fall in the $215,000 to $510,000 range.

This neighborhood offers real variety in a very well maintained neighborhood that is close enough to downtown Raleigh so as to provide convenience but far enough away so as to avoid the congestion.
