A few years after MacGregor Downs was a mature community, the adjoining community, MacGregor West was developed.
Again the focus was on custom upscale homes to appeal to professionals who needed a great location with convenient access to Cary and Raleigh, North Carolina.

MacGregor West residents can access the amenities presented in MacGregor Downs, by joining the MacGregor Downs Country Club, which has one of the finest golf venues in the area.
