Brookstone in Cary, NC, is just east of NC Highway 55, and south of the Westpark neighborhood.

The location is excellent, as it offers an easy commute to Cary, Durham, Apex, or the Research Triangle Park, nearby schools, proximity to various shopping and service options for daily needs, yet Brookstone is tucked off the main highways so residents experience low traffic and quietude.

Brookstone was developed in the mid-1990′s by Centex Homes. Home sizes tend to range from about 2100 square feet to about 4,000 square feet. Transitional features like two story foyers, nine foot ceilings, sweeping vaulted ceilings, and open floor plans are common.

Davis Village in Cary North Carolina is a new community, finished in 2012, by Pulte Homes. This neighborhood opened and closed out quickly, due to price point and a great location at Davis Drive and Morrisville Parkway. 50 affordable townhomes in the 170,000–$180,000 range sold out in a few months. 19 detached homes sold in less than 6 months as well.

At this time, Davis Village is so new that Walk Score has not indexed it, but Westover Park, across Morrisville Parkway gets a “Very Walkable” rating:

Huntington Woods in Morrisville is a neighborhood of affordable homes split by Morrisville Parkway. The neighborhood was built out by Sunstar/Solaris Homes and various local builders from the late 1980′s to the early 1990′s. Homes vary from traditional to transitional, ranches and 1 1/2 and 2 stories. The name Huntington Woods is accurate, as myriad trees add shade and beauty to the community.

Proximity to RTP and Weston Parkway is a plus for residents who work in those areas. Also, shopping at Park West is easily accessible off Morrisville Parkway, via the “back entrance.”
Just west on Morrisville Parkway you will find the Morrisville Aquatic Center, with swimming and other recreation available at affordable costs.
